The Magic Leap 2 Developer Pro Edition is an AR headset that has all the same features and capabilities of the Magic Leap 2 base version.
The main difference being that the Magic Leap 2 Developer Pro Edition has been built to support software developers in building Magic Leap 2 applications through access to extra enterprise OS features not found on the base version.
First, the Developer Pro Edition will allow for pre-releasing and testing software including the ability to directly port applications from the Magic Leap 1 and other AR devices like the HoloLens 2 to the Magic Leap 2.
Second, the Developer Pro Edition will give users access to the developer resources portal from Magic Leap itself, where extra developer tools, sample projects and software beta updates will be available for use.
